1. Membership price and period
The website currently displays individual teacher membership at £40 for one year. The price and access period shown immediately before purchase are the terms that apply to that checkout.
2. Manual renewal
Individual membership is currently a manual annual renewal rather than an automatic recurring subscription. Maths Teacher Hub will not intentionally create a recurring PayPal subscription unless the checkout is clearly changed to describe and obtain agreement to recurring billing.
3. PayPal checkout
Payments are processed through PayPal. When you begin checkout, Maths Teacher Hub creates an order and you are redirected to PayPal to approve payment. PayPal may ask you to sign in or use another payment method that PayPal makes available.
4. Payment confirmation
Membership is activated only after the website receives and validates a completed PayPal payment. The website checks information including the order status, amount and currency before extending membership access.
5. Payment records
Maths Teacher Hub may store a transaction reference, account/user reference, amount, currency, payment status, payment type and date. These records help us activate membership, answer billing questions, investigate duplicate or failed payments and maintain appropriate financial records.
6. Card and bank details
Raw card numbers, card security codes and online-banking credentials are handled by PayPal or the relevant payment provider and are not intended to be stored in the Maths Teacher Hub website database.
7. Cancelled or failed checkout
If you cancel checkout before payment completes, your membership should not be extended. If PayPal reports a failed, incomplete or unverifiable payment, member access will not be activated from that transaction. You can return to your account and try again.
8. Duplicate or incorrect payments
If you believe you paid twice, paid the wrong amount, or payment completed but membership was not activated, contact us with the email address used for your Maths Teacher Hub account and any PayPal transaction reference you have. Do not send full card details.
9. Refunds
Refund requests are considered according to applicable consumer law and the circumstances of the transaction. If there is a billing or access problem, contact us promptly so the payment and account can be checked. Nothing in this policy limits statutory consumer rights.
10. PayPal's own terms
PayPal is a separate service provider. Its own terms, privacy information, security checks and account rules may apply when you use PayPal. Maths Teacher Hub does not control PayPal account decisions or the payment methods PayPal offers to a particular user.
11. Security and fraud prevention
Payment callbacks and webhooks may be checked to confirm that payment notifications genuinely came from PayPal. Suspicious or inconsistent transactions may be held for review rather than activating access automatically.
